In order to deliver the freshest seafood, Tony’s son, Grant established a working relationship with Island Crab Company on Pine Island. In fact, in 1998 the Phelans joined forces with the Haugland family to become co-owners of Island Crab Company. This enables Pinchers to ensure the freshest blue crab, stone crab, grouper and other Gulf caught fish are delivered ‘from the water to the table’ every night to every customer. Pinchers and Island Crab utilize its own traps and boats to supply the restaurants with the freshest seafood available. It is a key element to what differentiates Pinchers from all the rest…No one can copy us because they can’t. That’s why our motto is… “You Can’t Fake Fresh!”
